Human populations are at the highest level ever. This puts enormous pressure on people and planet. These pressures are unsustainable and are impacting upon the planet's ability to provide sufficient food, water and space for both humans and nature.

Thousands of development, conservation and community organisations are working to help manage some of these pressures but these efforts are often poorly funded and peicemeal.

Individuals feel powerless to make change since change is a painfully slow political process. Nevertheless non-governmental organisations (NGO's) such as pressure and advocacy groups and charities can make a difference.

Healthy planet puts individuals at the centre of forging positive change by connecting those who have some time and financial resources with environment and development projects that need both.

Take responsibility for making change. Choose one of our projects and work towards a healthier planet.
